<div>Hey Everyone, <br/>Yes, we are doing a performance at Antelope park this year. It will be August 16. The performance will run 1 1/2 - 2 hours. You will get to see traditional Benu and not so traditional Benu. A chance for us to show you what we can really do, besides all that ITS stuff. There will be group numbers, solos, traditional tribal, and not so traditional tribal, and fusion. The performance is ifree to all who wish to attend. Hopefully we will have lovely weather, as it will be outdoors at the Antelope Park Bandshell, so bring bug spray. Afterwards we will have our traditional Pot Luck. All are welcome to attend. If you wish to pot luck with us bring a dish to share and drinks for yourselves. Tribal Aerobics will be an intense workout using tribal movements. This class will be on Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. The new floorwork class will be for all levels and work on floor specific movements and strengthening excercises. This class will be on Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Also, come join us for Poi and Props/Specialty classes on Thursday at 6:30 PM and 7 PM respectively. Props class works with balancing (swords, baskets, trays), veils, and more. Also, please feel free to join the Tribal Fusion workout class on Thursdays at 7:30 - 8:30 PM. This class is an intense muscle work out for the entire body. <div>OK, so my baby, really my baby!! OK, so my baby is now 6'4" and 300 some odd pounds, but He's still my baby!! 6 pounds 3 ounces, 13 inches at birth just over 18 1/2 years ago!! Just graduated from High School!! I could have cried, OK I cried!! He gave me beautiful white tiger lillies during the ceremony!! He is such a wonderful young man and I couldn't be more proud!! Oh and yes I checked the Diploma for signatures and authenticity, because for a while there a few years ago, we really didn't think this would happen!! And in October he's going to college, to become a CHEF!! He's already a great cook, always coming up with new ideas and recipies, can't wait to turn him loose on the world!! OK, proud Momma!! The available weekends are the same weekends we teach Saturday morning workshops. <br/> <br/>What is a weekend with Benu?? <br/> <br/>Start the day off with the 2 hour open workshop with Benu ($15 / person) and follow it up with atleast 4 hours of private instruction from Barb and Michele. For this weekend we offer a special in house fee of $50 / hour for the entire group or troupe for the private instruction. Time can be split over Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Saturday evening will be a Dance party with Benu with performances available for the attending troupe or group and by members of Benu and open dancing with Benu. We will have to release the EP on May 26th at the Boulder Creek Fesitval. We anticipate having the LP finished by Winter 2007! <br/>However, we are rebels by nature and will rail against "the Man" when we can get away with it! <br/>So for those who were expecting to get some music in your hands, you will! <div>I miss you guys! I haven't been able to find any troupes here other than the Tribal Fusion ones in London, a good 2 hour drive from where I live. My only contentment is that I have just bought tickets for the Raqs Brittannia and will be taking workshops with the ladies from The Indigo, to include my idol Rachel Brice. Still, I want a troupe I can call my own and be able to practice with them at least weekly. From all the posts I see that NE is gonna be the happening place for the next couple of months with all the festivals, and workshops and such. Unlucky me! No more "diets", but I am going to work on living an healthier life. I think the work "diet" kills it for me everytime. I always feel like a "diet" deprives me, so I am going for an healthier lifestyle and I am going to try it with a support group of friends!! <br/> <br/>2. I want to set some achievable short term financial goals, so I will be working with my husband to come up with some. After all, my oldest just turned 17 on the 28th and that means college in a year and an half!! <br/> <br/>3. I, also want to set some achievable career goals for my Bellydance career. We want to teach more seminars this year, and find new places to vend our wares.
